Description
Tree: Eucalyptus Wandoo can be a small to medium-sized tree with white flowers.
Location: Bindoon, Western Australia.
Colour: Light-coloured honey.
Flavour profile: A very flavoursome honey described as having soft toffee-apple and candyfloss undertones.
Flowers: Depending on the variety, Wandoo can flower in summer and winter, with some varieties flowering in between these seasons. Our White Gum honey is produced during the in between season.
Rate of production: White Gums do not flower every year and can be unpredictable in terms of producing flowers and enough nectar to ensure a honey yield.
Good to know: White Gum honey typically crystallizes quickly with a fine granule.
